Beachwalk

DETAILS

Master-planned coastal community on a 90-acre blufftop in Oxnard, California with 292 residences. Located adjacent to Mandalay State Beach and in proximity to dining, retail and recreation at Ventura Harbor and Channel Islands Harbor, the property features an engraved community boardwalk, plenty of walking and biking trails, rooftop decks and a community garden.

This coastal California property was formerly a contaminated oil field waste disposal site. Argent collaborated with the US Environmental Protection Agency, CA Department of Fish and Wildlife, US Army Corp of Engineers, CA State Parks and Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board to implement a variety of infrastructure improvements and remediation measures to clean the site to residential standards. Over 30 acres of land will be restored to native coastal dune scrub habitat.

Beachwalk was entitled by a Coastal Development Permit containing conditions mandated by the California Coastal Commission.
